BLACK LIGHT SC WORLD OF LB COLE
(A/CA) L. B. Cole L.B. Cole created some of the most bizarre, proto-psychedelic, eye-popping comic book covers of all time during the Golden Age of comics. Remarkably, this is the first retrospective of his career. Cole was famous for his bold covers, usually featuring "poster colors" - brilliant primaries often over black backgrounds - and an over-the-top sense of the bizarre mixed with whimsy. There's never been a comic book cover designer like L.B. Cole and there's never been a book like this one.

PRE CODE CLASSICS GHOSTLY WEIRD STORIES HC VOL 01
(A) L. B. Cole & Various The great Jay Disbrow (who died just a few weeks ago on 2 May) featured memorably in this often overlooked and certainly unsung gem, appearing alongside the likes of L.B. Cole and EC stalwart Jack Kamen. Folks, this is an embarrassment of riches, truly it is. There are no slouches at all in these five comics. Collects issues #120-124 (September 1953 to September 1954).
