After his teacher falls prey to the rust, the roguish Bisco Akahoshi embarks on journey through the sandy wastes to obtain a mushroom known only as the Rust Eater, rumored to cure the ailment. Together with the dashing young doctor Milo, the pair will have to contend with the unforgiving environment and their fellow wanderers in order to make it back alive.

There, an android with the ability to tame the ravenous Shroom-eating blossom dreams of freedom. For the sake of the Mushroom Keepers' way of life, Bisco will have to break into the prison and bust out the one person capable of pruning this problem before it blooms out of control!

But his way is barred by the very person who made him this way: the ruler of the Benibishi-Shishi. And if that wasn't enough, a mysterious sea monster joins the fray!

(W) Shinji Cobkubo (A) K Akagishi, Mocha Bisco and Milo are out searching for Ghost Hail mushrooms for a pregnant Pawoo when an airborne ark appears and abducts them in an attempt to 'save' the creatures of Earth. But just when things start looking desperate, Milo miraculously gives birth! The mysterious mushroom child Sugar Akaboshi wastes no time in freeding them. But there are many other creatures who've been 'saved' on the ark. If our heroes want to free them, they'll have to awaken Sugar's true powers...
