While Cain suspects who's behind the recent kidnappings, evidence proves frustratingly difficult to find. At a dead end in the investigation, he accepts a quest to escort a young noblewoman to Drientl. She seems familiar with his reputation and clearly has a specific goal in visiting Cain's domain.
