Konatsu is doing her best to adapt to her new school, but being required to join a club has introduced additional pressures. Her friendly classmate Kaede invites her to join the Home Ec. Club, but Konatsu really wants to join Koyuki in the Aquarium Club. Can she afford to reject Kaede's overture when she doesn't even know if Koyuki wants to be her friend? For teen audiences.

From the moment they met at the Aquarium Club's open house, Konatsu has admired Koyuki and treated her like she wasn't a distant figure on a pedestal. In turn, Koyuki has been open and welcoming to the new girl who stirs her heart. When the time comes to pick a club, Konatsu chooses the Aquarium Club with Koyuki. And even though it's just the two of them, they manage to host a successful open house. What's next for Koyuki and Konatsu, now that the shared experience has deepened the bond between them?

Koyuki and Konatsu, each lonely in her own way, are the only two members of the Nanahama High School Aquarium Club. As they spend time together, they discover that they are increasingly drawn to each other. When they go to the town summer festival together, Konatsu is finally able to ask why Koyuki spoke to her that first day at the aquarium open house. But Koyuki doesn't have an easy answer, and her stumbling reply makes the mood uncomfortable. Will this new awkwardness force a distance between them? For teen audiences.

Koyuki and Konatsu have both started to see the other as important, but they're still unable to be honest about their feelings. This leads to frustrating days when they're never in sync, and gradually they begin to drift apart. Then one day Konatsu sees Koyuki and her classmate Kaede spending time together as if they're the best of friends, and she can't contain her agitation.
